It is a lonely place indeed
to be the only one awake
while everyone around you is asleep...

You cannot speak to them
for they cannot hear.
They are in darkness
without sight
while you see clear
because you are in the Light.

They cannot move, they remain still,
while you are able to obey God's Will.
In many a church, spiritually speaking,
most of the people are spiritually sleeping.
They are deaf and blind and lame,
yet believe they are alive because they know His name.
Truthfully, they are Laodocians,
not seein', not knowin'
where it is they're goin'.....
