Pastor -

Are you the only one who has a tongue in your church? If not, then why do you do most of, if not all the talking during the services?

Are you the only one with a heart that belongs to God? If not, why are you the only one sharing revelation from Him? Wht are you the only one sharing Hid gifts with the congregation?

Are you the only one with a Bible? If not, why isn't anyone else sharing wisdom and insights from their Bibles?

Oh I see! You're the only one with a piece of paper that says you're "ordained" - in other words - you have been approved by men - and your authority comes from them, does it not? You're also most likely the only one with a piece of  paper that says you sat at the feet of other men to learn about God - but how much time have you spent sitting at the feet of Jesus, learning from Him directly? In Bible College you got man's understanding and perspective,  some of which may have been fine - but it cannot nor should not replace our personal time spent learning from the Holy Spirit Himself,  directly,  spirit to spirit  - heart to heart  - yet you are modeling your entire ministry based on what you learned in Bible School - the patterns and ways and thoughts of men - not the Holy Spirit.  Even now you're content to have the people come and sit at your feet and learn - as you did then - only they won't receive a degree after attending your church for four years.

So to summarize  - the only difference between you and the people in your congregation are a few pieces of paper given to you by men? No? You say you are called by God to the ministry? You are called to be a pastor? And the people in your congregation are not? No one else in your church is called by God?

No one is called by God to be a sheep grazing in your pasture (church) their entire lives.  All are ministers in training  - called to shepherd themselves  - and when they can do that well, then other's too. All are called to teach, evangelize and proph - all are recipients of the Holy Spirit  - with His amazing gifts. All are called to far more than ushering and children's church - not to belittle those ministries in any way - (in fact, the reason many avoid children's ministry is because they're seeking the glory and praise of men  - they want to be seen and heard by the people  - their hearts are not right before God.
In God's eyes - there is no higher calling than to love children on His behalf  - to shape them into the image of Christ while they are still pliable and teachable.  Some are truly anointed by God to work with children  - as their life's calling - but all should be able to and have a heart to minister to children, but of course no one should replace the role of the parent in a child's spiritual journey).

We are all called to minister to and care for one another  - as God leads - but you pastor, are content to be the sole source of ministry to the congregation as a whole - and you limit yourself primarily to teaching and praying  - prophecy and tongues and words of wisdom and knowledge are excluded, are they not? You say you are "called" to the ministry,  "chosen" by God  - and the people aren't? Because the concept of the pastor as shepherd,  and the people as sheep is so firmly entrenched in the minds of God's people today - the sheep must be trained to recognize and rebuke the sheep mentality  - that passive existence where all ministry is done by the pastor and whomever he appoints - not God.

The truth is - we are all kings and priests in the Body of Christ  - we are all "servant lords" - we know Jesus as the "Lord of lords" don't we? Who are the lords He is Lird of? US! Everyone born into His Kingdom by His Spirit and His blood. We are a "royal priesthood" are we not? Yet denied our birthright  - our Divine call and anointing,  in countless churches around the world.  Churches focus more on charachter and call that our calling, and the charachter trait they like to focus on the most is meekness -  meekly accept all you're told and taught - as a sure sign you are godly. "Submission to authority" is their number one character trait in church after church.  Be a good little sheep - don't question what you're taught - just hear and obey your leadership.  Very convenient for the leadership  - not so much for the sheep. Is godly charachter important? Of course! Meekness is a fruit of the Spirit which should be grown and cultivated but not at the expense of the warrior we are all called to become. We are to be tender hearted and meek towards one another but we must also respect and encourage one another's calling in Christ.  Indeed, churches and Bible Colleges should be teaching and training the people how to personally receive from and learn from the Holy Spirit.  When Paul met some believers who had not been baptized in the Holy Spirit  - he did not tell them to become his disciples  follow him, nor did he tell them to go sit in a Synagogue for the rest of their lives, no, he laid his hands on them and baptized them in the Holy Spirit  - then sent them on their way, trusting God to raise them through the Holy Spirit they had just met. Teaching people to walk in the Spirit, then soar, should be our primary goal as leaders - but we cannot teach something we aren't doing ourselves  - which is why many pastors don't do it. Go and make disciples of all men - disciples of Christ not ourselves.  They are as much a part of God's headship ministry on earth as we are, pastor - for all are called to function in each headship anointing.  All are the head and not the tail, ruling and reigning with Christ  (The Head) forever,  Hallelujah! Leaders then are those God appoints to birth and mature other leaders till all "COME TOGETHER IN THE UNITY OF THE FAITH, AND OF THE FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD, UNTO A PERFECT MAN, UNTO THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST  - THAT WE ALL BE NO MORE CHILDREN, TOSSED TO AND FRO BY EVERY WIND OF (FALSE) DOCTRINE, BUT SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE, MAY GROW UP (FULLY MATURE) INTO HIM IN ALL THINGS, WHICH IS THE HEAD, EVEN CHRIST".
