Christmas songs fill the air

 mixing with the snow all around 

Hearts are lighter, worldly cares,

 seem more distant as we calm down

The magic of Christmas 

 never ceases to amaze 

The food, the family,

 the ham with it's glaze

Happy people enjoying happy days

 

The gifts with wrapping paper so pretty

Eggnog, strings of lights - all appeal to me

My heart rejoices 

From Thanksgiving to Christmas 

 to hear so many voices

 praising and glorifying    my Jesus
