Just People

We're all at our best when we're just people,
sharing our walk with God with each other.
No titles, no agendas except to love one another.
Simply experiencing Him,
then sharing with our spiritual kin,
all He does and says is pretty much what Jesus did,
along with heartfelt, passionate prayer.

We shouldn't "have" church but rather "be" church -
let Jesus have us, have his way with us,
that He may speak to and touch us
through each member of the Body.
There is nobody, not even one,
who is not relevant, who is not heaven sent.
In Christ, each is a rich vein,
through which He flows.
A vein that if mined,
reveals gems sublime and gold.
This is how we become whole,
by extending his blood and forgiveness,
to every soul....

In His Body, every cell is connected to and touches every other cell.

There's a lot of people singin' the blues.
Don't know their why from their who
Walkin' around without a clue.
What they need is the GOoD News..


The Gospel is rightfully known as "Good News".
And it certainly is that because of a truth,
the Word of God is out to kill you!
Yes, God himself wants you dead, son.
It's the only way you can have a ressurection.
Unless you fall to the ground and die,
you cannot receive everlasting life.
All that is sin in you was put to death at Calvary,
that all that is godly in Christ
may now become your legacy.
You are now seen from God's eyes,
after you've accepted Christ,
and allowed his very molecules to be,
the conduit through which his holiness
and your sin are switched within,
as Holy and right.

Your transmutation is now cause
for joyous celebration!

In our age and day,
trust me when I say -
there are "King Herods" lying in wait,
who will not hesitate
to smile directly to your face
and tell you how badly they want to
worship your God with you
but in their hearts they really hate
all that is of Christ.
They are seeking to destroy
whomever God enjoys
and whatever produces Eternal Life,
they despise and spite.
They are pretenders to God's throne,
occupying instead a throne made of their own bones,
which will one day rot and never stop.
These "King Herods" are seeking the adoration and glory of man
and they'll continue to do all they can
to prevent Christ from drawing men
away from them...........

I have noticed a phenomena
for which I am chagrined
For when this I've seen
I've become rather saddened
I've seen people give quite generously
to ministries that cause God grief.
I've been to the mission field
I've seen first hand
Ministries that don't serve God but man
Ministries that are at odds with the Lord
Yet when money is given - on them it is poured.
In God's eyes, this is a sin
We should only give when told to by Him
He alone should tell us to whom and how much to give
For He alone knows who isn't from Him and who is.

So give only as He leads you to
that His Spirit will not be grieved with you....

Enough of these insipid banalities!
We give far too much thought to random frivolities.
The effort we make is really a waste
of space in our cranial cavities.
Please allow this poor mendicant
a chance to recant
what I thought was relevant.
I see now what I couldn't see then -
that most modern drivel isn't worth paper and pen.
People spend their days on meaningless essays,
entertaining themselves with rancid forays
into time-wasting pleasures of contrived importance.
Tickling the ears, teasing the soul,
but in the end regurgitating the goal
that's in the DNA of every embroyo;
The goal that all immortal personages should seek,
that of preparing for the reality
of where and with whom we'll spend eternity.
