I am not so impressed
with the excess of the west
Simplicity, becoming least
fits more with the east
So here’s a philosophy that’s sound –
By things become less and less bound
So the path to becoming truly blessed
Is more of Christ and of you - less
As self decreases
The Spirit releases
The ability to do whatever
The Father pleases
So at this time I do confess
“Things of this world” are but a passing test
If you want to know true success
Lasting happiness,
We must all be “About our Father’s Business”
