When i feel love,

 deep and abiding 

 compassion for another  -

       That's The Lord.

When I'm moved to tears

 and i want to do something, 

 anything  - for someone, 

      That's The Lord!

   inside of me,

       being who he   is.....

Because my heart

  is void of love  or

  anything else resembling goodness  -

Unless the Holy Spirit 

  moves upon the face of my deep

   and commands in the darkness of my heart,

          "Let There Be Light"

   I will forever remain in darkness 

   without form and void...
