Your stubborn love

 never quit,

 never gave up,

 is legit.

 I tried so hard to run away,

 The Prodigal son's got nothin' on me,

But in the end I have this testimony  -

 You've loved me so steadfastly, 

 so faithfully  -  so stubbornly!

Stubborn love! Never quits,  never gives up -

How fantastic!

 With me till the end

 through all my rebelling,

 sees my nakedness, 

  sees my every sin

 yet chooses still

 to cover me and take me in - 

I will never deserve 

This love that has me completely unnerved, 

All my defenses,

my walls and my fences,

Blown away by the Hurricane force wind

 of Your stubborn love

 for this stubborn man 

 humbled by Your refusal 

 to my soul abandon  -
