Dear fallen, fellow man -

        

          My past self can't blame you

          but my future self can.

          Thank You God for different 

          kinds of people to love.

          Thank You for helping me

          to understand  -

          I need to give as well as receive 

          the love You've given me.

          Though I judge righteous judgment 

          I give mercy, not consent.

          I stand in condemnation 

          of my past, sinful self,

          so that my future self

          may avoid going to Hell

          And too I stand against 

          The version, dear reader, of you

          that hates all that is 

          right, holy and true.

          I love my future self by hating my past self -

          the one that's going to Hell 

          You're present self must choose

          which version of you 

          will be the one who bows before

          The God of love and mercy

          who wants to love you forevermore 

          on the great and fearful Day of the Lord...
