Do not look to man for your spiritual sustenance,  your soul's food and drink. In the Communion service,  it is the Body and the Blood of our Lord Jesus, our Christ that we are to serve one another - but remember  - Christ himself served the first Communion meal - henceforth,  Christ in us continues to serve us his flesh and his blood - by giving us in sacrifice one to another. We are his Body - we are sustained by his blood. We consume his flesh by partaking of each other's lives  - but remember the Lord's command - do not consume flesh with the blood still in it - the life is in the blood - so, he's telling us we must only consume flesh that has died. In the same way - we can only have our flesh (life) offered by Christ to another when we've died to our flesh's lusts and desires, Amen. In our flesh is found all manner of unclean things (Gal:5:19-21) but when we die to all these we become full of his Spirit's fruit - then we become palatable to others! The more dead to your flesh you become  the more alive to Christ, to his Spirit, you become.  You replace your flesh's affections with God's desires. You exchange unrighteousness for righteousness, wickedness for holiness, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil for the Tree of Life.
