Man makes his own thunder

 creates machines in which he can fly,

 soaring like gods through the sky

 but birds - God's natural flight

 produce no pollution  - noise or otherwise.

Man makes his concoctions 

 Soft drinks they're called

Compared to juice or water,

 frankly I'm appalled:

extremely unhealthy compared to what comes from God:

Let's look at concrete:

 an eyesore and hard on the feet

Starts to crumble,  starts to crack,

 not nearly as pleasant as grass,

GOD'S WAYS ARE BETTER 

Man tries hard to save himself 

 believes he is righteous without any help

Calls evil good, and good evil - chooses hell

God looks upon them so arrogant and lost

 and lies down upon the Cross
