If you spend your time judging others and not yourself
You’ll put yourself on a path straight to Hell
Cause the spirit that’s working in you and through you (is)
Keeping you blinded to who is true
It was the sinner who cried out for mercy from God
Who pleased Jesus, not the Pharisee who thought nothing was odd
About disdaining and looking down his nose
At this filthy sinner lying prostrate at his toes
For the spirit that drives us to judge others, inside
Is known to God as the spirit of Pride

The only One who can judge what is true, what is false
The only One who can expose all our flaws
(because He alone doesn’t have any)
The only One who walks in true humility
Is The Holy Spirit dwelling inside of we
