Be courteous, be polite
Try always to do what's right
Be as nice as you can be
And you will reap what you sow, eventually.

Treat others the way you'd like them to treat you
and soon you'll find, most of the time
they'll treat you with kindness too.

But some people have hearts that are dead
It's these you must work extra hard to be nice to
Because no matter what they've done or said
Jesus died for them like he died for you
They especially need your example to follow
or your words will end up sounding hollow.

So be slow to anger, slow to speak
Choose your words quite carefully
For God hears them all
Out of love you must often turn the other cheek
Give them forgiveness when forgiveness they seek
If you stumble just get back up when you fall
Yes forgive all who sin against you
so your Heavenly Father may forgive you, too.....
