Let me make this perfectly clear
because I don’t want to be hazy
One thing I know to be true
God won’t bless the lazy


Guide the lowly, guard the weak
The welfare of others always seek
Feed the poor, for them provide
Pour out your blessings as the Tide
Keep the helpless, defend the meek
And teach us to turn the other cheek
Let us check our hearts each day
to be sure we are faithful to Your ways
