Lord,
I could write a million poems
Move the hearts in a million homes
but comparatively, it would all be
just a drop in the ocean of Your love for me
Lord,
You love people
Not programs or pulpits or lofty church steeples,
Cliques or clichés – Reality not religious ways
You love people, You’re a part of everyone’s story –
You see our shame, You see our glory
An older woman near her death
A baby taking his first breath
You see it all and through it all You desire to Bless
Your goodness is better than life
I could sing a million songs
Praise Your Name my whole life long
but it would all be not nearly enough
to compare to the Love you have for us
